Just that the bigger guys are too general. It would be hard for them to really get advertisers and that may be why most social network sites don't make a whole lot.
I figured niche social networks would allow for advertisers to really say, "Hey, we need to be on there!" So that what I'm going to be doing the next couple weeks. Setting up a few smaller and specific social networks and see what happens.
