>>  Fallout: New Vegas rakes in $300 million

   Bethesda Softworks is basking in the glow of Fallout: New Vegas after announcing that over 5 million copies of the game have shipped to retail since its North American release on October 19. In this morning's press release, Bethesda touted  strong retail sales and downloads of the game which have brought in over $300 million in revenue thus far.

   In the game, players take on the role of The Courier who's nearly killed at the outset of the adventure by a thug named Benny Gecko. The Courier is brought back to full health by the good Doctor Mitchel so he can exact revenge on his would-be assassin in the apocalyptic environs of Las Vegas, 2281.

Fallout: New Vegas is currently available for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
