Sony confirmed on Friday afternoon (November 12, 2010) that the latest chapter in their Gran Turismo 5 franchise will ship on November 24, 2010.    At the SEMA Trade Show which opened up in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi mentioned that Gran Turismo 5 discs are being pressed and stamped. Last month, Sony announced that the game would be delayed and issued a new release date of "Winter 2010." If Kazunori isn't mistaken, then GT5 should be making its way to retailers in the next few weeks.
