The Japanese version of the Nintendo 3DS is being released on February 25, 2011 but Nintendo has finalized the details for the North American release of the 3DS.    Nintendo has confirmed that the Nintendo 3DS hardware is region-locked and will only play software from its original territory. For example, the Japanese version of the 3DS that is being released next month can only play Japanese-region software. This region-restriction applies to both card-based and downloaded software.

   Square Enix has filed a trademark in the European Union for "Final Fantasy Type-0" which was accompanied by a logo in black calligraphy script as shown below. No additional details have been divulged by Square concerning the project.

Keiji Inafune, the man responsible for designing Megaman aka Rockman and giving him that natty blue suit is leaving Capcom. Keiji started his career at the company 23 years ago where he produced the Megaman canon as well as Rockman EXE and Rockman Zero. Most recently, Keiji worked on Dead Rising 2 which suffered from poor sales. Keiji cited a need to "recharge" as his reason for leaving Capcom.
