I didn't find the trailer itself very captivating, but the implementation of player housing, trainable mounts, etc., I think is very fucking cool if they execute it well. I'm very impressed that they're taking the direction of the game with the focus on making the game a dynamic, virtual world, as opposed to a watered-down, not-so-dynamic mmo like much of the rest of the mmo industry has taken, with the exception of some of the SOE mmo's, but those are lacking a very important dynamic, and that being a well-implemented pvp objective. I really hope NCsoft takes player housing to the level Everquest 2 has. If they can get the bot/gold-farmer situation under control, I think Aion may be a long-term mmo for me.

really looking forward to the dX 10 usage. kinda interested to see how the new melee class (the DnD monk like class) fits into things. gotta love the new player houses. i kinda wanna see a legion building... like a place with a kisk/obalisk for legion members and some vendors that can be upgraded with vendors, brokers and the like. the ability to mount things you fight in the world is kind of a cool twist on mounts. one thing i really wanna find out more info on is the raid on the town outside of pandamonium.... kinda interested in how that works. and now i see why they added swimming. before i was all like "why have swimming when there is nothing to do in areas that have deep water?". but now i see why... and it looks really good. can't wait to see it in action. this game has already taken me from WoW (and i'm glad it did) and i can't wait for all this new content.

oh and roomer has it that all this stuff will slowly be introduced in content patches and not an expansion. crossing my fingers in hopes that it is true =q
