imo, hotkey the abilities with your numpad and place your abilites where it suits your comfortable keystrokes.
ex: i have my nearest target as 0, sprint (assassin) on the '+' key, switch weapons on the '-' key, and so forth. Beats mouseclicking, cuts down time, and you'll only need to end up clicking when using traders or grabbing quests! xD |

That's a pretty good set-up actually.
Might give that a go tonight when I get in. Keep thinking about getting one of those little on the side gaming shortcut pads. Think z-board did one. Like a circular thing. You got the hang of the directional modifiers in combat yet Sesslix? Quite important with the assassin I would imagine.

I was actually thinking about grabbing one of those gaming shortcut keypads too, not just for aion, but for any pc game I'm rockin. I'm growing rather fond of hotkeys and macros lol.
As far as direction goes, other than stealthing behind a mob for hidden specific attacks and crits, I just lock onto my target and move in while strafing/kiting like a motherfkr while stringing along the best chain of moves lol. With the Sin I'm finding it's pretty crucial to try and map out which chains to do first so once your done the cooldowns are finished (if not, then close) so you can Jack up for then next round of hurt. It's like that with all classes in most cases, but with Sins bein midsquishies and frontline dps... You REALLY don't wanna rely on the auto-attack >.

Yeah that's them thegiggolo. You managed to utilize them in a useful way in pve yet? I know in pvp about using the attack modifier to run towards eachother then turning and running back again, kind of like jousting but with spells and swords :p
Circle strafing around enemies works okay for evasion but it gets annoying when everyone is doing it. Seems worthwhile learning seeing as the actual amount they modify your stats by is substantial. |

No they are for pve too. If you bring up your character profile and run in a direction you will be able to see your stats change.

Works very well as an assassin or ranger. But as a caster not so much. Although it does make my Cleric an even bigger pain in the A$$ to kill. PvE I haven't noticed to much of a differance but PvP It helps alot. |

thank you "TheGiggolo" for posting the movement bonuses, :O i saw it changing on my profile but didn't think it's effect on the damage/Defe :s i'm chanter most melee attk so i need to know this too :D...
I'm half hotkey user/little macros [macro system in aion sux so i don't make a lot] and switch the camera and using the potions by mouse from the right Quick Bar. ATking/healing solo and if I'm with my Glad friend i fouces on healing and Defe while atk little bit. till now i didn't get a honorkill from PVP cuz most the EPlayer esc away -.-.... |
