Street Fighter IV
» Xbox controller vs PS3 controller

I love the Xbox controller but for Street Fighter 4 it is absolute crap.

Get an arcade stick.
Both xbox and ps3 have really good quality ones. |

hori real arcade pro joystick is what i use for xbox and i got one for ps3 too. solid and sturdy joystick that's heavy.

I think I'm definitely going to be investing in one of those arcade joysticks.

yep the HRAP EX SE version with the seimetsu parts. can't do moves on sfiv with the pad easily but the joystick works great.

Only one up is Sanwa ver >_< Ive seen one of those with button light up mod, Feels like you're playing a game of DDR in SSF4. Is the stick tight? (not lose and wobbly) Never used that stick personally. Was thinking of making a custom stick... |

i think i got it for $139 + shipping from a shop in nyc. the good thing about that stick is all of the buttons and the joystick itself can be taken out easily and replaced if any of them ever malfunction.
the stick isn't too tight and i'd describe it as moving freely without too much resistance. i really like it and i think it's probably the best arcade quality stick available for the xbox. I heard alot about this stick myself. It is one of the best sticks on the market.
But i think i might build my own. Their is the shop that sells faceplates, they are selling diy cases. As long as i get a PCB for it and do a xbox PCB hack, ill be able to use it on pc, ps3 and 360. |
