What inspired you to join this internet phenomena in the first place?
For me, in the most genuine of answers, it was to see if there were any girls that were into games as much as I was that lived around here, as odd as it may seem, it made sense to me. -shrug-
Now I just see GG as another really good community site with alot more appeal because of its foundation of people that love what I love.

i joined cause after talking to stormy on vent she sent me the link to this site on msn, and i got curious and ended up joinning, and i also thought the same thing Pucks thought on his post ;)

Oh you mean the girl that came here and posted fake pictures and trashed a lot of members? The same one that got banned? Ouch. I'm glad you stuck around.

just wanted to talk with anyone around my area who was into gaming. found on wow that alot of the people i grouped with were local so made some good friends through that and got to hang out with them.
basically wanted to see if anyone was around my way who shared interest in games. plus figured this be a good site to discuss games figuring i'd remember some past games i played. been trying to collect them on e-bay. so far remembered 2 just by joining this site. so guess therewas a few reasons why i joined.

lol, yup the same girl, i spoke to her in vent cause she app to my guild and non of the officers were on so we ended up chatting. she sent me the link the next morning.
thanks, i like this site, im a lurker for now since i dont know many but might develop into a full blown addict lol

Yeah I'm fairly sure that, despite what they may define their own excuse as, when everyone here signed up for something called "Gorgeous Gamers" its painfully obvious we all had thought about the same "thing", but its good to know that people on here looked past the title and built a really cool community.
Oh and we're Gorgeous, that too. ;D

About the same honestly. Looking to meet girl gamers. Found some but none around here. What I found instead was a great community of like minded people. Doesn't matter if you are an RPGer or an FPSer we all get along....mostly
