I'm fine, but I can definitely feel my heart beating when I play MW2 sometimes.Epinephrine rush! :) Hells to the yeah! Keel me some nubs. The mere existence of flame throwers says that someone, sometime, somewhere, said to himself, "You know, I'd really like to set that guy over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Admitting the problem is the first step in finding the solution. :3 The mere existence of flame throwers says that someone, sometime, somewhere, said to himself, "You know, I'd really like to set that guy over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Dangit. Curse those expected yet totally unavoidable cheap puns! The mere existence of flame throwers says that someone, sometime, somewhere, said to himself, "You know, I'd really like to set that guy over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

hmmm... it depends on what you mean by "butterflies in your stomach." imho, sometimes they come from anxiety or nervousness or other times just from being happy or around someone you have feelings for. when i first reconnected with my now-fiance again, i definitely had a swarm of them in my stomach. but now, i still get that feeling, but it's a bit different. instead of being nervous or just those initial butterflies, it's a complete feeling of joy every time i get to talk to him, see him, anything. i still get that typical "butterfly feeling," but i don't rely on it to tell me what my true feelings are. |
|
I get like that frequently when I pvp. Tbh, I always thought it was because I'm way more a "typical girl" than I care to admit to myself. Fear of failure, or something. I try to remind myself that it's just a game; if I win 1 outta 10 times, it's still worth it. Whoever I beat probably takes it a lot more seriously than I do, and they just lost to a girl ;)

I get those too when I PvP, my adrenaline goes up, that's FUN though. Anytime I think about my acting class though like reading a monologue or being on stage or even reading and picking out a monologue...I get sick thinking about it, my stomach does flips, I can trigger it just by thinking about it...like now! Eek!! Repress, repress, repress. |

So, here's a question to ponder: If the majority of people in this thread said they felt butterflies when they first met their significant other, does that mean those who play video games and get butterflies are in love with their consoles?
Think about it. Modernity is the transient, the fleeting, the contingent; it is one half of art, the other being the eternal and the immovable.
